It is assumed that all participants can breakfall competently prior to commencing this course. 

This course fulfills the technical requirements of the Australian Judo Union Grading Syllabus for the rank of 6th Kyu (Yellow Belt).

On the last class of this course all enrolled/registered participants will be assessed and examined in accordance with the Australian Judo Union prescribed standards for the rank of 6th Kyu (Yellow Belt) and if successful will be promoted to this rank.

Pre-requisites

• Must be a financial member of the Toowoomba Judo Club Inc.
• Must be a financial member of the Australian Judo Union Inc.
• Has successfully completed the Preparation for Judo Course or has successfully demonstrated that they can breakfall correctly and competently.

Attendance Requirements

Judo students enrolled in the "Introduction to Judo - Yellow Belt" Course must maintain a minimum of 80 percent attendance to complete the course ( viz 13 out of 16 classes).  Judo students who do not maintain the minimum course attendance requirement may have to attend "catchup" classes at $35/1 hour class or in  cases of high absence repeat the whole course without credit or refund of fees.
